A neat example of a very early, Great War period, LG (Lewis Gun) proficiency badge

This is a good example of a very early, Great War period, LG (Lewis Gun) proficiency badge. I have heard that the lack of a wreath around the letters signifies that the qualification badge is for a Territorial Force soldier rather than a regular Army soldier. The badge is in a perfect condition and has the early hessian backing.
