A nice Dutch made early post war so called 'Hoornse slag' Dutch Special Forces Commando troepen beret badge

This is a good example of a difficult to find early post war Dutch made a so called "Hoornse slag' Dutch Commando troops beret badge. This badge is made in the early '50s by the Hoornse Metaalwaren fabriek and are difficult to find. Every Hoornse slag can be recognized by its typical loops. From the start of the production of beret emblems for the Koninklijke Landmacht we see various different fixings and both thick and thin loops. But one always jumped out and was always unique and guaranteed a Hoornse slag. This example is in a nice and issued condition and still had it's original backing attached. Difficult to find these days.
