This is a great example of a - not so often seen and regrettably single - full-worded block type lettering RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps) shoulder title. These early wartime full-worded titles were also issued to the Airborne Medical units like the 133 Parachute Field Ambulance and the 181 Airlanding Field Ambulance. This single example has a white block type lettering on a maroon backing with a black gauze to the back. These full-worded titels are harder to find these days.
