This is a neat example of a mid war period - 26 Juli 1943 dated - portrait (measuring 8.2cm by 13.3cm) photoghraph depicting a proud Corporal of the Airborne Forces. On the back (see photo) the Corporal wrote a message to his sister with lots of kisses. Most likely he was a member of Divisional HeadQuarters looking as his Airborne shoulder title. Those early portrait phorographs are difficult to find these days.
